The collection consists mainly of correspondence with the Imperial Service Club, the Churchill Fellowship Fund, the Australian Society of Authors, insurance companies and politicians (including letters from James Scullin, J.A. Lyons and Norman Makin concerning the Citizens' League of South Australia), with his father and brother, Guy Bagot. As well there are pamphlets, letters, circulars, newspaper clippings and typescript articles on Bagot's years in politics; some of Bagot's diaries (1920, 1941-1942, 1944) and military papers (letters, leave certificates, typescript articles, newspapers, maps etc.) from his years in the Mesopotamian Expeditionary Force during World War I.
